All international students are required to submit proof of English language proficiency. Student English proficiency documents are accepted within two (2) years from the date of issuance.
Students without valid English proficiency documents are subject to interview assessment by Registration Center counselor. Qualified candidates will receive an official English Proficiency Letter (EPL) from the Registration Center for admittance to study at UCLA during the summer session. Students without proficient English, depending on the English level, may be admitted for English Study at UCLA.
